2010 Oakendell Pro-Am Charity Tournament

Mike played in the Oakendell Pro-Am Charity Tournament today. It was an all day event, so he really enjoyed his little get away. He did complain that the guys made him eat his veggie's at the luncheon. (He said he did??) He had a great day and played really well. He won 3 bottles of some expensive wine (? we don't drink LOL ?) And he won a weekend getaway for 2 (not 14...so it does us no good LOL) to Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno with a two-some to play 18 course holes at Eagle Valley East/West course. Pretty cool. I'm glad he had such a fun time......

September 21

This was a great day for Kurtis, not such a great day for Kate.

Kate came to me this morning and said "My hand is swollen and itches".

There was nothing obvious. So Mike and I decided to just take her in to have it looked at. So we gave her some Benadryl and off they went. Two different doctors looked at it at the office and said it was probably a staph infection. So she got a prescription and lucky for her no chores until this weekend. But then again she can't play Halo Reach on her new XBOX either.

Now the good news is.........Kurtis read to me today. Yep, that's right. Ahhhh, another proud moment for mom. He was so excited.(I was too). :)

Yesterday we went to court to finalize Kody's adoption.

It's official, he is one of us now....and forever!

Kassadie Update

Kassadie has done very well with her rehab therapy. She had a doctors appointment and they said she was doing excellent. She was going to O/T & P/T every Tuesday and Thursday and now they said 6 times a year. Yahoo!! Isn't that great?? She walks without her brace and they think she will be a lefty for life. But we work her fine motor skills everyday at home just to keep building those muscles up. Anyways, thought I would share since we are sooo very proud.

August 21st

Not much exciting is going on here.............just some random things.

Kassadie had a cardiology appointment this week, it went well. They plan to do another catheter in November or December.( To check her lung pressure. )To see if she is ready for surgery.

The kids are still working hard at school. And last but not least...........yesterday was our 22nd wedding anniversary. Mike and I agreed that it's been a very good 22 years!

all day like that, including the store.
