For those of you that don't know about Keegan. His first year of life was on a 24 hour feeding tube in his nose. At 10 months he had surgery and a Mic-key Button was placed in his stomach.
Then, his second year of life, he had bolus feedings with a pump in his tummy tube. As he has gotten older, the last three years he eats most toddler type foods.
Well, today was a great day. We took Keegan to the pediatrician and they removed his Mic-key button. What a big boy. We are sooooo proud. He has done so well. So now we hope that he will learn to take his medication by mouth. Here is a photo of him when he got home. He was so excited to play with his new remote control toy, he didn't want to stop for the photo.
