Mom's Birthday!

Today was fun! I declared Mom's Birthday a holiday. No school. We played outside all morning.

Kylene made me a WONDERFUL lemon and raspberry cake. It was beautiful. (Yummy too.)Mike and the kids bought me a gorgeous wooden chair made from old teak ox carts. So neat. Now I have my own chair to enjoy watching the kiddo's in. Mike's mom sent me the most unique little framed picture. I'll post a photo of it. Thanks so much for making Mom's day great guys. Love you all.

Spring Has Sprung

Spring has sprung. The Poppy's are in full bloom. The tree on top of the mountain is called the Paloma tree, its located on a thousand acre ranch down the street from us.

Daughter Like Mother

My Mom wanted me to post this picture on her blog too. It's a piture of my moms card on the left and my journal on the right. She did her card on 5-11-80 and I did mine on 5-9-08. She was 12 and I was 13. Pretty weird huh?

Kendall's Birthday

We were out running errands on Monday and decided to stop and get Kayna's ears pierced. She was soooo excited. She didn't squirm or wiggle. But when the gun shot the earring through, she looked surprised and said "Oh". She just looks too cute.

Skateboarding Fun

It's a beautiful day and the kids are having fun outside. Kevin and Kye-Kye are helping dad today. Kylene and Keegan are having a tea party.

New Car Project

Mike finished the body work on the mustang and it left for the paint shop. It will come back to be put together and to have the interior done. They brought back a 1971 Nova for body work. He's having a fun time playing with the cars.
